Hello everyone,

My name is Rakesh Honawad and I am an Electronics and Communication Engineering graduate from India.

I am interested in participating in Google Summer of Code 2026 with OpenELIS Global. I have experience with Java, MySQL, and backend development.

I am currently exploring the OpenELIS codebase and I am particularly interested in the project “Improve Integration Tests Coverage”.

I would appreciate guidance on how to set up the development environment and how I can start contributing to beginner issues.

Looking forward to learning from the community and contributing to the project.
