# Reminder about the GSoC Midterm Evaluation

Hello GSoC Contributors, This is a reminder about the GSoC Midterm Evaluation.

Mentors and GSoC contributors can begin submitting midterm evaluations starting **July 6, 2026**.

The deadline for the Midterm Evaluation (standard coding period) is **July 10, 2026**.

Contributors, please make sure your mentor has everything they need to evaluate your progress, including:

- What you’ve done so far
- The current state of your project
- Any challenges you’ve faced

Mentors, please don’t wait until the last day to submit your evaluations.

Creating a Blog post on [medium](https://www.medium.com), Contributors will need to post a new topic on OpenELIS Talk, titled **GSoC 2026 - Project Title - Mid Term Evaluation** , using the same format and details as your other blog posts, and make sure to tag these with @GoogleOSS @GSoC
