Hi Everyone,
I’m a laboratory specialist working in the Pacific and currently supporting the Public Health Laboratory in Papua New Guinea to implement a LIMS. We are hoping to implement OpenELIS, however without an IT background I was hoping to get some guidance on the installation process and requirements. Thank you for your message and guidance for the installation. Can you please confirm if OpenELIS can be installed using Ubuntu 24.04.01 LTS? Or does it need to be Ubuntu 22.04.2.0 LTS?

it should run fine on any Ubuntu version. we also added support for Mac OS

Hey @Mihir_181 ! Docker setup is OS-independent, so you can use it on either Windows or Ubuntu. If you’re familiar with Ubuntu, it might feel smoother due to native support, but Docker works great on Windows as well. Use whichever OS you prefer—Docker ensures a consistent environment! 😊
