Hi everyone! My name is Sairam Bisoyi, and I’m an engineering student from IIT Guwahati,India looking to contribute to OpenELIS Global. I’ve been exploring the codebase and found myself really interested in the backend engineering side. I noticed the **backend integration test coverage is currently around 18%** , which aligns perfectly with the “Improve Integration Tests coverage” project idea proposed for this year. I checked the **Active Issues** page to start contributing, but it looks like most beginner issues are currently taken. To get started immediately, I have analyzed the JaCoCo reports locally and **I am currently looking at the `org.openelisglobal.sample.service` module** , as I noticed it has almost 0% coverage. I plan to start writing some integration tests for the core services there to get familiar with the test infrastructure. Excited to be here! ---

Hello, My name is Hamza Alsherif, I am a computer scinece graduate from Cairo University. I have experience developing and maintaining deployed applications using Springboot, React and PostgreSQL. @raunak I personally use Linux as my main Os, So your preference depends on what you are comfortable with, As OE can run on linux windows and Linux OS ---

Hi all, My name is Chin-Erdene, and I am from Mongolia. I currently a student at University of Washington, Paul G. Allen School, and I am studying computer science. I was planning to participate in GSOC 2026, and found OpenElis Global, which is an open source project also from University of Washington!. I am extremely interested in contributing to OpenElis open source project this year. I have an autoimmune disease so I am passionate about combing healthcare with technology. I think openElis Global would be a perfect fit for me!
