My name is Krish Patel. I’m a college student currently pursuing my degree in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI/DS).

I’m a developer with a strong focus on backend systems. I have hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework. I am also comfortable with frontend development, specifically JavaScript and React.

I’m very interested in becoming an active contributor to the OpenELIS community. My long-term goal is to get familiar with the codebase and hopefully participate in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2026 with this organization.

I’m currently working on setting up the dev environment and will be looking for introductory issues to get started. I’m excited to learn from you all!
