My name is Mahlet Getinet, and I am a second-year Computer Science student at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
I’m excited to contribute to OpenELIS Global through Google Summer of Code 2026. I have experience with C++, HTML, CSS, and some JavaScript, and I’m currently working towards becoming a full-stack developer. I’m eager to learn backend development and other technologies used in OpenELIS.
I’ve started reviewing the installation and developer documentation and plan to begin working on introductory issues soon. Could you suggest a good first task for someone new to the project?
