Introduction Akindehin

Hello,

My name is Akindehin Razak, and I’m currently studying Statistics at the Federal University of Technology, Minna Nigeria. Over the past few years, I’ve developed a strong interest in using data and technology to solve real world problems, especially in areas like health, education, and public systems.

Alongside my statistics studies, I’ve been building practical experience in software development. I work mainly with web technologies such as JavaScript, Vue.js, Node.js, MySQL and PHP, and I’m currently improving my backend development skills with Laravel. I enjoy building systems that collect, organize, and present data in ways that help people make better decisions.

What draws me to OpenELIS Global is the opportunity to contribute to software that directly supports healthcare systems. As someone with a background in statistics, I find the idea of working with laboratory and health data particularly meaningful. I’m interested in improving how data can be analyzed, visualized, and used to detect trends that may support better healthcare outcomes.

I enjoy learning from open-source communities, collaborating with other developers, and contributing to projects that have real impact. I’m excited about the chance to contribute my skills while also learning from the experienced mentors and contributors in the OpenELIS community.
