Hi OpenELIS community,

I’m Muthushri, a third-year engineering student working mainly with Java and Spring-based backend systems. I’m exploring OpenELIS as a potential organization for GSoC 2026, as I’m interested in how real-world lab systems handle data, workflows, and reliability.

I’m getting familiar with the codebase and build setup, and I’m new to open source currently learning the system properly.
