I’m Punith, a 3rd-year student at IIIT Sri City. I’m interested in contributing to the OpenELIS Global Java backend as part of my preparation for GSoC 2027.
I previously commented on issue #4389, but I noticed that PR #4390 already proposes the same documentation change, so I don’t want to duplicate another contributor’s work.
I’ve started exploring the available good-first issues. Could you please suggest an available Java backend issue that would be suitable for my first contribution?
I’m happy to study the codebase, follow the contribution guidelines, and work on an issue that the community recommends.
