Hello, my name is Gaurav Kumar Choudhary, and I am a second-year Computer Science student passionate about backend development, open-source contributions, and API standardization. I have experience working with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and OpenAPI (Swagger), and I enjoy solving real-world problems through technology.

I have developed several backend applications, including a Library Management System and a Smart Contact Manager, where I implemented JWT authentication, RESTful API design, and database management using MySQL and MongoDB. My interest in API standardization and improving developer experiences aligns well with the goals of OpenELIS.

I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to OpenELIS by enhancing its REST API with OpenAPI specifications, making it more structured, user-friendly, and interoperable with healthcare systems. I look forward to learning from the OpenELIS community and making a meaningful impact through this project.
