My name is Deepak Verma, a software engineer from India, and I’m thrilled to be part of the OpenELIS community!
I’m contributing purely out of passion and personal interest in open source and its role in improving global healthcare systems. I graduated from Indian Institute of technology (IIT) BHU in 2024 and currently have 1 year of industry experience. With hands-on experience in Java frameworks, React, and Angular, I’m eager to explore ways I can add value to this project — whether it’s through beginner-friendly development tasks, testing, or improving documentation.
This is a learning journey for me as well, and I look forward to collaborating with and learning from the amazing contributors here, while using technology to support meaningful, real-world impact.

Hi @Ariho-Seth, I have done the set up on my local machine following the guidelines in the docs. After running docker compose command, everything is up but I am not able to access latest React localhost. Can I get some help regarding this?
Please, can you create a separate thread for this and tag me, then share some screenshots of what you are facing? I’ll surely be ready to help. Thanks

Hi, I’m Harsh Badagandi. I’m a final-year Computer Engineering student at VIT Pune, with a strong interest in Java and Spring Boot backend development. I’ve recently started exploring open source and am eager to get involved.
I’ve interned at a few organizations, including The Bank of New York, where I gained hands-on experience in real-world software development. I came across OpenELIS Global and found its work really meaningful, especially how it helps public health labs manage data and improve workflows.
I’d love to start contributing and learn more about the project.
